What
is NEO PRINT?
A coin operated
photo booth that produces 16 small photo stickers in color, black
and white, and sepia.
How
does it work?
Its easy!!
You just walk up to a unit, insert money and a voice along with
an on screen menu helps you select the color of photo you want.
Then it will ask you to choose from over 40 different frame options
for your photo. You can choose one frame for all 16 pictures,
4 frames for four pictures each, or no frame at all! Then
NEO PRINT prompts you to say cheese! Don't like it?
Then take another one, you get up to three chances at a great photo.
After NEO PRINT snaps your photo it takes only 26 seconds to
print out your 16 stickers (half the time of our competitors!).
Stickers that you can put on nearly anything!
Who
seems to be the target market?
Our initial tests were targeting the children's market in
the States, then we learned that everybody was intrigued with the
machine in Japan, so we started testing in all different types of
locations and it seems to be very popular with all ages and sexes.
What type of locations do well? Hotel
lobbies, Family Entertainment Center's Restaurant lobbies, Seasonal
locations, Tourist areas, Arcades, Theme Parks, Bars, Malls, Discount
Store lobbies, fast food chains, anywhere there are people.
How
big is the NEO PRINT machine?
If you picture the footprint of a standard coin operated video game
cabinet with a curtain in front of the video screen, you've got
a pretty good idea of what it looks like.
What
is the cost per vend?
Under $1.00
What is the recommended vend price?
We
recommend a vend price of $3 to $4.
How much film does it hold?
It's
actually a thermal-laser process. The NEO PRINT cartridge
holds 200 vends. (That's twice as much as competitors' products.)
All you have to do is load the printer and replace the toner cartridge
and the NEO PRINT is ready for more vends. Our American cabinet
is designed so the NEO PRINT can be reloaded without having access
to the cash box (an important security feature). Some attended
locations even reload the NEO PRINT themselves. It's that
easy!
